Description

The Victorians loved Acidanthera murielae (a cousin of the gladiolus) for cut flowers and it’s easy to see why. It has a wonderful scent and lasts brilliantly in the vase.

It has become my staple autumn flower for cutting, that I couldn’t be without. One of the best statuesque and scented flowers for a large container. These Ethiopian native Peacock Orchids are hugely recommended.

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Care Tips

Safest grown in pots. Stop watering at the end of summer and bring indoors for the winter. Any frost-free shed or garage will do. Put them out again next spring after danger of frosts has passed. Potted, they also make fabulous autumn houseplants
